Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), is the natural gas distribution company in the City of Philadelphia and the largest municipally owned gas utility in the country. PGW manages and maintains the Philadelphia Gas Distribution System that delivers safe, reliable natural gas to more than 500,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers. PGW considers Combined Heat and Power (CHP) an important energy option for customers, providing increased resiliency, redundancy, improved efficiency, reduced operational costs, and environmental benefits. PGW’s CHP Program provides technical assistance and incentives to support new CHP systems. Program PGW’s CHP program offerings include: Large Commercial Applications o Provide free preliminary grade audits and economic analyses o Negotiated incentives on a case-by-case basis. o Ability to convert capital costs into operating costs o Support in finding state and federal grants Small Commercial and Residential Applications o $1,000 per kW installed up to 20 kW o $750 per kW installed greater than 20 kW and less than or equal to 50 kW o Negotiated Delivery Charge More information is available here: https://www.pgworks.com/customer-care/your-business/fueling-the-future |
