Con Edison provides electric, gas, and steam service for the 10 million people who live in New York City and Westchester County. Through Non-Wires Solutions, the company is deferring capital infrastructure upgrades by implementing, in targeted areas, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) including CHP, Fuel Cells and Energy Storage. Only customers connected to specific networks or feeders are eligible. For details visit Con Edison incentive program – Private Generation. | Technical Assistance |

Con Edison does not provide Technical Assistance directly. However, Con Edison works closely with NYSERDA to accelerate the adoption and implementation of DERs in targeted NWS areas. Technical assistance is provided via NYSERDA’s expert helper agent and includes no-cost preliminary screening for applicability/sizing of CHP systems, as well as one-on-one coaching to assist a host site with preparing an RFP, conducting a tour for prospective bidders, vetting received bids, and considering different financial vehicles such as owning or leasing or entering into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
