Company Description
Bloom Energy is a world leader in fuel cell-based power generation. With a platform based on solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology and operating at temperatures above 800˚C, the Bloom Energy Server can produce clean energy at one of the highest efficiencies in the market today. With a non-combustion electrochemical reaction for power generation, the resulting emission has a low CO2 footprint and no particulate matter. A standard block size of 325 kW can be scaled to multi-MW. Bloom has over 1.2 GW of installed capacity across eight countries.

The high temperature exhaust from the Energy Server can be channeled, allowing the heat to be available for further use. The Bloom Energy Server is compatible with Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, increasing overall system efficiency and improving economics.

The heat from the Energy Server can be used to power a range of CHP applications - direct process heat, hot water production, steam generation and in chilled water applications.
Energy Services and/or Financing
The Bloom Energy Server can be procured as a CAPEX with a maintenance agreement. Alternatively, it can be contracted as an energy service for 15-20 years through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a tolling rate or as a Managed Service agreement (MS) for 6 years with a fixed monthly payment based on the capacity of the system.
Assurance Plan
Service options and plans are available to meet a variety of customer needs. A majority of Bloom Energy's customers have contracts and service agreements that range from 5 to 20 years. Due to the modularity of the design, system uptime is not affected during servicing. Bloom Energy offers an availability greater than 99.9% across the fleet.

Following this contract period, customers have the ability to renew contracts to meet business needs. Bloom Energy has over 150 members in the services team between field services and remote monitoring. Field engineers have the responsibility to maintain the installations.

Throughout the contract period Bloom Energy ensures efficiency and output guarantees that meet the needs. In addition, customers have access to a private portal, Bloomconnect, which provides - the ability to review high level summary of installations, access to download/extract performance data for user-defined time periods in 15 minute intervals, access to report any issues directly to Bloom Energy services team, direct access to data to leverage for billing or environmental compliance related reporting and real time monitoring of energy usage using API.
